Participants will alternate experiential learning days so they can experience both the patient and clinician side of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Each trainee will get 2 opportunities to hold space and 2 opportunities to engage in KAP as the patient. Participation in the experiential learning is not required, but is strongly encouraged. We do not guarantee requested experiential days; we encourage training participants to depart on Monday if there are concerns regarding travel on an experiential day.
“I am deeply appreciative of the robust KAP training. It was all around a stellar & comprehensive training with an embedded trauma-sensitive lens. A beautiful combination of medical health and mental health was explored. Much gratitude!”
What sets us apart from other KAP trainings?
Jennifer Montjoy brings an integrated, holistic approach to her private practice and trainings having worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings for more than 16 years. Jennifer has worked as an integrative psychiatric provider for the past 8 years.
Jennifer holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. Her doctoral substantive was biobehavioral neuroscience and her dissertation study, Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP): Clinical Outcomes and Self-transcendence in depression and PTSD is an important contribution to the field of psychotherapeutic psychedelic research.
Ceremony and ritual are important aspects of Jennifer’s personal and KAP practice; she participated in Web of Life’s 1-year Animist ministry ordainment program and was ordained in September 2021. Animism is a non-religious, earth-honoring spiritual practice emphasizing the sacred connection between human and non-human peoples.

Psychedelic therapies undoubtedly require vulnerability and intimacy as we share our inner experiences with others. This is why we keep our trainings small and personalized, so that every person has the opportunity to feel seen and heard, and to feel safe in the process.

“These trainings are intimate, cozy and comfortable. It’s the ideal way to learn about this medicine, in my opinion... The cost was another bonus for me, as this was the most affordable program I found when researching KAP trainings. It left me with the knowledge and confidence to start my path towards implementing KAP in my own practice. I definitely recommend it.”
